>In preparation for my upcoming class, on the cross, I’ve been reading, trying to wrap my head around the cross and the resurrection. One of those books is Surprised by Hope by N.T. Wright I think, N.T. Wright is one of the foremost New Testament Bible scholars alive today. It seems like he models his book writing after C.S. Lewis. Lewis has Surprised by Joy, Wright has Surprised by Hope. Lewis has Mere Christianity; Wright has Simply Christian etc., although their specialities and styles of writing are very different. Any book from N.T. on the New Testament (ironic) is sure to get your brain churning. :)
